512 Project

I, along with my friend Nathan, was part of the Capital Run from the Dallas leg to Austin for the 512 Project last weekend. The 512 project was a big stance/fitment show with cars coming from all over. I think I even saw some from Virginia, Louisiana, Florida, and a bunch others I can't remember right now.

We started off meeting at Speed Zone at 6am, and leaving at 6:15. As we were waiting for the rest of the cars, this guy showed up. He was cool about us being there and he even did a little donut in the dirt lot in the background of the picture there.

Then it was time to roll out to Hillsboro to meet up with the Fort Worth leg of the Capital Run.

Phi with his clean Si on JLine wheels.

It was nice seeing both of the Civics roll down the highway. Unfortunately, the white EK snapped his timing belt causing an engine failure.

Our lead car for the Capital Run was Chris's G35. This thing looks insane rolling down the streets.
Some rolling shots on the way taken by Nathan Leonard, I was driving the whole way so he was in charged of taking pictures.

We finally got to Austin Driveway, the track the 512 Project was held at. It was a nice track with a fairly nice scenery around.
It took a while for us to find a place to park since we got into the wrong line and had to wait for like 30 minutes to get through the traffic at the track.

The level of nice cars exceeded my expectations, as did the temperature. Everywhere you turn, you can find a car that was dumped, sitting flushed, and spotless.
